The love became inspiration for 3D printing art
Daksh Sakhni from Los Angeles together with the spouse Simona Aleksandrino worked re-embodying it 2D drawings in 3D sculptures means 3D the press, having used services Californian the Solid Concepts service provider.
In Hinge Modern, all few steps away from Crash Space in Kalver-City, Daksh and Simon show a collection of subjects, including extraordinary, beautiful 3D a printing lamp. Having used the experience in architecture and design of interactive games, Daksh managed to re-embody continuous strips of drawings of the spouse in 3D models, having digitized Simona’s works. Later it worked together with Solid Concepts to embody the creation in reality that, to show the devotion and love to the spouse.
As he said in interview to the blogger of the company of additive production:
«Thanks to Solid Concepts I managed to make many small sections of final design of different scales and their different materials, having used technology of selective laser agglomeration (CLC). Solid Concepts provided support and the help during all process of creation of design. From excursion in their office in Valencia and before training by all to available methods of work, which are known for it to make sure that my files were ready for printing, to final processing and a covering. To work in one room from beginning to end is, it is obligatory, very convenient».
Work was made when using SLS technology, and Solid Concept by way of use of ColorTek later is ornamented, but, actually it was born from big love and passion of 2 lovers – two islands at the bottomless ocean between which nobody is capable to rise. Their love is so strong that anybody from them is not capable to get out of it.
Together with the shining sun 3D printing love, the samples showing process of creation of a sculpture, including the bag of powder nylon 12 used for production of a lamp, also other printing components are presented, such as are presented on a photo above.
