Identity check 3D the press with ceramics at an exhibition of the Museum of Design
The 6th year the Museum of Design holds an annual exhibition for designers on purpose to find new talents and to show to beginning talents the support of innovative technologies, also подвигнуть them on new opening and projects.
In the attention center at a design exhibition of 2013 there was Adam Fuhrman, whose collection will study «the concept of search of identity through the cabinet of curiosities containing products, completely made means 3D the press and shlikerny molding». And in coordination with Adam’s description:
«The project is invented travel in intimate search of identity».
Adam ended Architectural Association in 2009 and at present works in Ron Arad Associates. Its latest design works are made with introduction 3D the press, also several ordinary methods of processing of ceramics, thus, it expresses interest to architecture history, theoretical and speculative architecture.
In Adam’s work it was applied color 3D the press of Lee 3D which is used by ZPrinter 650. But, judging by results, it there was a bad option.
George Li, the director of Lee 3D, explained:
«ZPrinter 650 perfectly was suitable for Adam’s works, taking into account difficulty of forms and a color palette. The project specifies an interesting combination of new technologies and ordinary methods; 3D the press of casting molds which are an embodiment of the present and usually, found the embodiment in Adam’s design work.»
But, as in a case with though what high-quality product, and and it is concrete with ceramics, post-processing is integral a part of production.
«We invested in technology of post-processing for this project that color details a long time remained same bright, as in day of the press. Earlier some faded exhibits seriously undermined reputation of the Museum of Design.»
At first 3D the printing color exhibit which will be exhibited at the Design Museum, was used as a template for creation of new exhibits.
