Creation of requisites on the printer. Part 2
It is the 2nd of 2 parts of special article from the professional developer of requisites of Lord Archibald (Lord Archiebald). You can read the first part here.
The 1st that we do – we cover a design with a cellulose first coat (be convinced that the room is perfectly aired, or you use a special mask). The top part of assembly is a key to this process. Several layers should be enough to clean flat sides. For this first coat we can use late an emery paper to return it. One of advantages of requisites of this kind will be that its form should not be faultless for a coloring. Not essentially what small crack or scratch only on a hand at work with similar subjects.

On this step after a covering silver the model can look a little slovenly, because silver color – one of flowers which it is very heavy to compel to look perfectly. Though what even the smallest defect it will be perfectly visible. But, as we spoke earlier, on this step not essentially what roughness to us will descend only on a hand. On this step, your product should look approximately so. After polishing of a silver covering it will get beautiful steel light.
Here one of small cunnings! On black areas which you see over a silver covering, the covering is put. This covering can be used for iron fireplaces to give them beautiful steel light. For an award of similar effect it is necessary to work much, everything depends on concentration, drying time and so forth.
Before you can achieve ideal result, it is necessary to experiment a little, we advise to dilute polishing to concentration of 50 %, also let’s some minutes dry up, before polishing it with a white nezapyatanny fabric without pile. All roughnesses which looked earlier slovenly in a silver covering, at present appropriate to a product special chic and depth. If you overdid polishing, and color left a little dark, or you are not satisfied simply by final result, it is possible to put a little solvent on a fabric and to wipe a surface until receive suitable result.
At present the product takes more interesting form. It is more it seems that this product is made of a piece of metal, instead of there was the Cube printer about half an hour back. Nevertheless the product looks a little flat and lifeless, it is necessary still a little over it to work.
How to recover a product?
Product of the smaller size behind covered with silver paint and a first coat. For an award of color and depth which is observed in the model presented below, I used special sprays. They are developed directly for the film industry, are used to give to things the grown old look. In fact it is a tinting varnish, you reach more dark shade in the way of imposing of additional layers the suitable shade, thus, is reached and becomes stronger. It is heavy to find that for an award of such olive shade it was necessary to put 7 varnish coats in various places that thus products looked, as if it is made in old times.
The last stage consists in drawing of scratches. It is made by means of a product under silverfinger title. It is effective silver paste with the high maintenance of a pigment. Put it with a dry brush to give to a product really worn-out, grown old look.
