Competition of designs of XLN: adaptations for disabled people with the help 3D the press

Above the main conditions for a role in competition «Are listed we create future products» which carries out the Israeli Institute of Reut of XLN (the project of cooperation of laboratories). Congratulations to Moysha Borotsin (Moshe Borocin) for its invention which became a winner: a set for molding of special personal plates, 3D written Stratasys.
The institute of Reut is the non-profitable association, urged to build the best future of the Israeli society and to provide a better standard of living. For the purpose of an award of the designated purpose of Reut based the XLN project on creation of laboratories 3D of the press on all district of Israel to tell to the public about 3D the press and revolutions in personal production.
There were a lot of the beautiful creative demands, all unique. The founder of a set for molding of special tableware for people with limited possibilities, engineer Moysha Borotsin became the winner. The product, 3D written on multi-material 3D the Objet Connex printer from the Stratasys company, includes a casting mold with the replaceable blocks, allowing to create available plates with specially developed handles, also ergonomic and esthetic properties made directly for people with limited possibilities.

The 2nd place was received by Aya Efron (Aya Efron), the child who has developed spectacle frames whom it is possible to make in coordination with features of the face of the person and to his personal preferences. These abrupt spectacle frames for certain will force the kid to wear the glasses with pride.
Among other finalists appeared: student designer Dzhilad Agam (Gilad Agam) who has developed the plastic ear device, a directing sound from the loudspeaker of phone directly to an internal ear; professional doctor Orit Nakhmani (Orit Nahmani) with the carpal capture for pedestrians; also the student of faculty of the industrial design, developed an ergonomic nozzle for a computer mouse.
The idea of competition consisted not only in increase of the characteristic of life of people with limited possibilities and the help to them for the purpose of independence finding, but also in telling to the public about technology 3D of the press and how it changed production process.
Stratasys provided 3D the MakerBot printer to Reutsky laboratories 3D of the press on purpose to support and advertize a branch 3D the press, also sponsored for carrying out an awards ceremony of participants of competition.
