3D printing snowflakes from MakerBot, Saks and MasterCard
In 2008 the Saks company (Fifth Avenue, New-york) employed Marian Bantyes that it drew 25 snowflakes in honor of the eighth Christmas season. Since then the company invited various jewelers to re-embody drawings in beautiful scenery.
For this festive season the Saks team incorporated to MasterCard and MakerBot to give gifts in a look 3D printing snowflakes for owners of MasterCard. Since November 25 till December 24, guests of the Saks Fifth Avenue shop located on 5 avenues in New York, will have possibility to receive as a gift 3D a printing snowflake.
The beautiful snowflakes, drawn Marian Bantyes, 3D will be written to MakerBot on desktop 3D the Replicator 2 printer. The buyers who have spent $150 and more from the MasterCard in Saks Fifth Avenue shop, will receive as a gift special 3D a snowflake which will serve as a beautiful New Year’s ornament. Buyers of Saks Fifth Avenue shop also will see desktop 3D the MakerBot Replicator 2 printer in operation, it will occur Wednesday through Friday.
The designer, the writer and illustrator Marian Bantyes is known for the passion to handwork, the beautiful and detailed ornaments. Bantyes it was called the most innovative topographer of the present. 3D printing snowflakes of MakerBot became the first creation Bantyes changed in 3D printing model.
